Milwaukee underground rap legend, collab king and freestyle bandit Taiyamo Denku has just dropped a new album on Bandcamp and it’s NAME YOUR PRICE! Now, if you already mess with Denk, you know this skills. The flat out lyricism that melts headphones and the ferocious deliver that ‘raps your face off’. BUT, if you don’t, what a perfect chance to peep what this emcee can do.
This older body of work was created between 2004 – 2009 and is well worth tapping in to. Denk normally shares the mic with some of your favourite rappers, but this joint is all solo stuff, which is super impressive. Not only is he one of the dopest underground emcees on the scene, he is one of the hardest working. To have such a catalogue of music in the vault to be able to provide hip hop heads a ‘throwback’ joint like this when he’s already dropped ‘The Darker Side of Light‘, ‘Kollab Kong‘ and ‘Den Bo Wu‘ in 2020 alone, is outstanding.
