Fresh from hitting hip hop heads with the acclaimed ‘Mr. Automatic‘, Weapon E.S.P is back with ‘Grindhausu‘ the lead single from the upcoming album ‘Tarantino Rodriguez‘, a collaborative project with producer Tim Barry which drops February 8. ‘Grindhausu‘ is a hardbody hip hop track, showcasing razor sharp lyricism in a taste of what is to come on the new album. It’s dark, it’s hypnotic, is dope ass hip hop that you need to get into your rotation ASAP.
“As long as there is air intact in my lungs / I air ’em out over drums, or no drums / bunch of bums who can’t compute the drops / Weapon beat the system like Gary Kasparov for the props” Weapon spits almost prophetically (I’ve been blessed to hear the album and Weap airs everyone out over drums and no drums!!!). Yeah, this is the razor sharp pen game that is stuck on slaughter mode and has been for a while now, and you’ll get more of when ‘Tarantino Rodriguez‘ drops next week. But for now, sit back and enjoy the first single.
