The RZA teams up with the Flatbush Zombies for a dark, dope new hip hop track that brings with it a Quentin Tarantino-esque visual. While it remains unclear where this track may feature in RZA’s upcoming body of work slated for release over the next year, what we DO know is that this joint bangs with a frenetic energy and edginess that reminds hip hop heads (and RZA himself) of the Gravediggaz.
Production-wise, this track is exactly what we’ve been craving from the RZA over recent years, recapturing that dusty, grimey sound but filling it out with eerie strings. It’s 36 Chambers style and that suits the semi-sadistic style of the Flatbush Zombies when they get to spitting their lyrical nastiness. The Wu leader also spits a ferociously venomous 16 on this joint too, and it’s great to have the Abbot back in that pocket!!!
