When / how did you get your start in hip hop?

I started really getting into music (Writing, recording & performing) around the age of 11. Before that I was a poetry and short story kind of kid so I guess it just all translates to what I do now!

Are there any artists who inspire you in your work?

As far as inspiration artists like kool G Rap, Rakim, Nas, Black Thought and Pharoah Monch give me motivation!

Can you describe your style in 5 words or less?

My Style in 5 words or less….. That Real Hip Hop Shit

What would your dream project be?

My Dream project would be an album fully produced by J Dilla! Period!

Best gig you’ve ever rocked?

The craziest gig I’ve ever rocked was with Apathy at the Middle East Club in Boston, Mass. sold out and the crowd was crazy. Big up to Reks too. He was there in that crowd like a true lover of the culture.

Best piece of advice you have received?

The best piece of advice I think I’ve received as far as music it to learn to be self sufficient. As an artist the most reliable person will always be self.
