When you get two super-respected emcees from Staten Island, New York on a track together you are going to get some flames. Dom Pachino and Shyheim have teamed up for this fire dart from Dom’s ‘T-4 (at your front door)‘ album and it’s some of that raw, hardcore, rugged, lyrical ish that the ‘Wu Family’ always bring through.
‘Ninja Stars‘ has bars, and it’s great to get killer lyrics and flow these guys. The chemistry on the track is undeniable but certainly not a surprise considering they’ve been doing this for three decades or so. The horns complement the track well, and gives the entire song that ‘come up anthem’ kinda vibe. It’s also a funky soundtrack for Shyheim and Dom to really attack the mic with crafty wordplay and confident swagger flow.
‘I already have heart, don’t need a Wizard of Oz / When me and Shyheim connect, we like the dream team’ spits Dom Pachino and he’s on point. Dom P and Shyheim command attention when on the mic and they are a dope AF pairing.
